Adjustable shapes

Arrows, stars, arcs/pies and callouts are part of the Shapes library. Add ShapesExtension() (it installs TableExtension itself) to the configuration's extensions; they are also available in the playground's Shapes library.

Try the interactive example. Select arrows, stars, arcs/pies or callouts and drag their 8×8 adjustment controls. Arrow controls follow width and length axes, callout controls follow pointer displacement, and arc endpoints follow the pointer angle around the center. Star controls increase right/up and decrease left/down. Normal resize, rotation and undo continue to work. Adjustment drags do not pan the canvas.

Controls gently snap near meaningful geometry stops. Hold Shift to constrain them to those stops: arcs and pies use 15° increments (45° magnetic stops otherwise), and callout pointers use the center and quarter points. Arrow proportions and star inner radii snap to common ratios. Release Shift to resume free adjustment.

Four parametric families cover arrows (DiagramShapes.arrow), stars (DiagramShapes.star), arcs/pies (DiagramShapes.arc) and callouts (DiagramShapes.callout). Change an arrow's direction or double-head setting in the inspector. Toggle an arc's “Close To Center” value to make a pie. Core polygons already cover triangles, diamonds and hexagons by side count.

These shapes do not implement the DrawingML document format.
